Every Monday people go to Bhuvneshvar mandir. There is special puja in Marathi month of Shravan. People start to sing bhajans together they don’t stop the noise of a small drum till seven days. There is a rule that each village’s people participate in that puja and they take twice arti in a day. They prepare a prasad at evening it was very tasty. That special puja completes after seven days.

There is a Comity of “Chauda Ganv” mines 14 villages people donated money to build the Bhuvneshvar mandir. Even they have builted Shri Datts mandir behind that.

People visit to kankeshver mandir in Shravan initially they take darshan of bhuvneshvar mandir and start to climb the hill of bhuvneshvar. It takes one and half hour to reach kankeshver mandir. It is very famous temple in alibag.

There is a real incident happened with Bhuvneshvar maharajah, that I expressed front of you. You will not believe but it was real. Some years ago there is no rainfall in rainy season that’s why farmer were worried about rain they had not any option without worship of Shiva. They came together and start to pray of shiv linga in Bhuvneshvar mandir finally they had immersed to shivlinga in water at Shiva’s ghabara. After some time god started to show his miracle in that area. Cloud’s started to get together and it was started to rain. Its a miracle of bhuvneshvar maharajah. People started more worship of shivlingas from that incident. Someone is said in Marathi “jithe chamtkar tithe namskar” It’s true.
